Sharing
Tebemo lets you share your circuit boards with others via link or email. You control who has access and what they can do.
Opening the Share modal
In the editor, click the Share button in the top-right toolbar. The Share modal opens with two methods: link sharing and email sharing.
- Click Generate Link (or the link will already be shown if previously generated)
- Choose the permission level:
- View Only — recipients can see the circuit but not edit it
- Can Edit — recipients can modify the circuit
- Click Copy Link to copy the share URL to your clipboard
- Send the link to anyone
The link remains active until you explicitly revoke it. Anyone with the link can access the board at the permission level you set.
Revoking a link
Click Revoke Link in the Share modal. This immediately disables the link — anyone who had it will lose access. You can generate a new link at any time.
Revoking a link removes access for everyone who was using it. If you need to remove access for just one person, use email sharing instead.
- In the Share modal, go to the email section
- Enter the recipient's email address
- Choose the permission level: View Only or Can Edit
- Click Send
The recipient receives an email invitation with a link to the board. You can share with multiple people by sending additional invitations.
Managing email shares
The Share modal shows a list of everyone the board is shared with via email, including their permission level. You can:
- Change permissions — update a user's access level
- Revoke access — remove a specific person's access
Accessing shared boards
From the dashboard
On My Page, click Shared Boards in the sidebar to see boards others have shared with you.
To add a shared board to your collection:
- Copy a share link from someone
- Paste it into the input field on the Shared Boards page
- The board appears in your shared boards list
Each shared board card shows:
- Board name and description
- Who shared it
- When it was last updated
- Your permission level
Click a shared board to open it in the editor.
Removing a shared board
You can remove a shared board from your collection without affecting the original board or other users' access.
Permissions explained
| Permission | Can view | Can edit | Can share | Can delete |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| View Only | Yes | No | No | No |
| Can Edit | Yes | Yes | No | No |
| Owner | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
- View Only users see a "View Only" badge in the editor. They can inspect components and run simulations but cannot modify the circuit.
- Can Edit users have full editing capability, including adding/removing components and wires.
- Only the owner (creator) of a board can share it, change permissions, or delete it.
Collaboration
When a board is shared with edit permissions, multiple users can edit simultaneously:
- See who is currently online in the Users List panel
- Watch other users' cursors in real time
- All changes are synchronized instantly
Toggle the Users List panel from View > Users List in the editor toolbar.
