Collaboration
Edit circuit boards together with other users in real time.
How it works
When two or more users have the same board open in edit mode, they are automatically joined into a live collaboration session. Changes from any participant appear on everyone's canvas instantly via a WebSocket connection.
Collaboration indicator
The top bar shows an avatar or initials for each connected user. A green dot means the session is live; a grey dot means offline (changes will sync when connectivity is restored).
What syncs in real time
- Component placements, moves, rotations, and deletions
- Wire connections and deletions
- Component property changes
- Board name changes
Live cursors
Each collaborator's cursor appears on your canvas as a colored pointer labeled with their name. You can see exactly where teammates are working.
Conflict handling
If two users edit the same component's property simultaneously, the last write wins — the most recent change is applied to both users' views.
Requirements
- All collaborators must be signed in to a Tebemo account.
- The board must be owned by one of the collaborators, or shared with them via email with edit access.
- A stable internet connection is required for real-time sync; the editor remains usable offline but changes sync when the connection is restored.
Leaving a session
Simply closing the tab ends your participation. Other users continue editing and will no longer see your cursor.
