Managing Items
How to add, edit, and delete components within a list.
Adding an item
- Open a list and select a category tab (e.g., Resistors).
- Click + Add at the bottom of the table.
- A new empty row appears. Click each cell to enter values.
- Press Tab to move to the next cell, or click elsewhere to confirm.
Editing an item
Click any cell in an existing row to edit its value inline. For fields with predefined options (Material, Package, Color) a dropdown appears. For numeric fields, type the value with an optional SI prefix — for example 4k7, 100n, 2m.
Quantity field
Every item has a Qty column. Enter the number of units you have in stock. This field is always present regardless of the category schema.
Deleting an item
Click the row to select it, then click the delete icon that appears on the right side of the row. To delete multiple items, select several rows (Shift+click or checkbox) and click delete.
Per-item limits
The number of items per list depends on your subscription:
| Tier | Items per list |
|---|---|
| Free | 30 |
| Pro | 500 |
| Premium | 2 000 |
| Advanced | 10 000 |
| Business | Unlimited |
Adding items from Circuit Builder
When you have a circuit open in Circuit Builder:
- Click any component on the canvas.
- In the properties panel, click Add to Component List.
- Choose which list and category to add it to.
- The component's properties (resistance, voltage, package, etc.) are pre-filled automatically.
Filtering items
For columns marked as filterable (Material, Package, Type, Color), a checkbox panel appears on the right side of the table. Check one or more values to show only matching rows.
